It's Real this time
Scratch that last entry. Maggie just officially took her first steps! I can't believe it!!! She really took 3 steps to me. Of course I was dangling a girl scout cookie in front of her face (like mother like daughter!) I can't believe it. She's ready to start walking!

Almost a Step!
Maggie has been standing on her own for a few months now. She pulls herself up on something, lets go, and stands on her own for a minute or more sometimes. And she cruises all over the place....around the coffee table and other things. So, we're all waiting for the moment when she takes her first step. Well, last night she took a "half" step. She had pulled herself up and was standing freely. She picked her right foot up and put it back down about an inch ahead of where it started. It wasn't really a "step" but she was able to keep her balence while moving her foot forward some. Anyday now, I know she'll be walking. And she needs to hurry up because my back is really struggling to carry her 28 pound hiney everywhere!
