Tuesday, April 22, 2003 Secret Project Well, I think it's pretty obvious that my computer time is limited. I'm sure some people think that being a stay-at-home Mom is all "bon bons and soap operas". They're wrong. Finding the time for a 10 minute shower is rough. Seriously. So, it's not an excuse, merely an explanation for such huge breaks in posts. In any free time I've had, I've been trying to get a new site up. Won't go into details in case (good chance) that it never gets up and running. But, I've been tooling around with Dreamweaver (any help appreciated). So, we'll see. If it ever happens, I'll let ya know. Maggie is great. She's a walking professional now. I remember waiting and waiting for her to crawl. Now, she's into everything. She says, "keeeee" for the "kitty cat" who she just loves. She likes the cat even more that the dogs because she is her size and she tries to pick her up. She's such a happy kid. Easter was nice. She looked so sweet in her pink dress and made lots of people smile at church. posted at 06:28 PM | # | (1) any comments? Monday, April 7, 2003 Sad, in a Happy way. Congratulations, Terese. You deserve it! posted at 06:12 PM | # | (0) any comments? Tuesday, April 1, 2003 Quick Updates Things are good here. I find myself feeling guilty for not updating more. But hell, nobody reads here....so not too guilty. :-) Our trip to Phoenix was good. A typical "Cahoon family" gathering. Those who know me know what that means. The plane ride was OK. My ears popped and hurt the entire time. I still can't hear out of my right ear. Flying is NOT my favorite mode of transportation...that's for sure. Maggie was wonderful though. She slept the entire flight there and back. Why was I even worried about her? She's such an angel. A perfect angel. Maggie is an official walker now. Occasionally she'll "abort" and crawl when she thinks she's losing her balence. But, for the most part she walks everywhere she needs to be. Still holding strong with 8 teeth. Although it looks like two more on the bottom may be coming soon. Teething hasn't really been a problem with us so I'm not worried. Had her year check-up. My 26 pound butterball is healthy and in the 96th percentile for weight. We're working on getting her weaned but it's a constant source of insecurity for both her and I so we're taking it one step at a time. I'm working on getting her weaned down to just night feedings. It's hard though. posted at 07:27 PM | # | (0) any comments? |
