Whew!
Whew...these last few weeks have been a whirlwind!! So much going on! We had Maggie's birthday party on Saturday. It was wonderful. Maggie was starting to come down with a cold (which is full blown now) so she was a little cranky during cake time. But, things were great. My good friend Angela made it up for the party and snapped some fabulous pictures which can be found here. I must have told her thank you a thousand times already...but have to say it again. Thanks Angela!

Our next obstacle is flying to Arizona on Friday for Tommy's sister's wedding. With the threat of war looming very heavy in the air, I must admit I'm more nervous than ever before about flying. I'm really looking forward to Sunday night when we'll be home...safe and sound....and things will return to normal. I think we'll be clear of any big events until our big trip to Greenville at the end of May for Jacob and Sarah's wedding.

Maggie gets better and better at walking every day. She's taken as many as 8-10 confidant steps on her own! I'm so proud of her. She's a walker now. I can't believe it. (but my back is cheering..no more carrying around a 25 pound plus kid). I'm taking her to the doctor tomorrow because her cold is getting worse. Her chest sounds congested and she's weezing. Her "well" one year check up is next week, but I didn't want to wait until then and I really didn't want to take a sick baby on a plane. So.....busy, busy, busy here packing for Arizona and taking care of a sick baby.

Baby Steps
She's getting better by the day. She's a full fledged expert at standing up on her own. She does it all the time and can stay there forever!! As for actually taking steps.....she's working on it. Everyday she takes a few more. Next Friday she'll be one.
